Staff

Heather – Clinical Director

Heather was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Va and now resides in Frederick, Md with her husband of 20 yrs, her 14 yr old daughter and their dog named Trip. She has over 20 yrs of dental experience, receiving her RDA certification at an accredited Dental Assisting program in Nashville, TN before coming to MD and getting re-certified in Expanded Functions as well as being Ortho certified. She is currently expanding her knowledge and is enrolled in the Dental Anesthesia Assistant Course and plans to be certified this year. When not at work, she enjoys running, playing tennis and softball as well as traveling and being with family and friends.


Devynn – Esthetician

Devynn has been a licensed esthetician for over 20 years and has been with Dr. Will for 15 of them. She truly believes that medical treatments and medical grade/prescription products are the only way to transform your skin and that there are too many “fluff” products on the market that are in a pretty package and are expensive, but don’t deliver the results advertised.
She is happily raising 2 daughters (Sadie and Violet) with her husband Kevin. Her children attend Mother Seton School where Devynn devotes time organizing, leading, and volunteering at events throughout the school year. The girls have a busy dance schedule, especially during competition season.
She has a Newfoundland Poodle mix (Walter), a mini Goldendoodle (Charlie),cat (Peshi) and a flock of Silkie Chickens. Devynn enjoys cooking, baking, interior design, gardening, and spending time with her friends and family.


Ellen – Registered Nurse

Ellen joined WSA in March 2021 as our Registered Nurse. She graduated from Chamberlain College of Nursing with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Ellen began her nursing career at John Hopkins Suburban Hospital in the intensive care unit and cardiovascular intensive care unit. Recently, Ellen and her family relocated to the Frederick area and she transferred to the intensive care unit at Frederick Health Hospital.

Ellen’s experience and expertise in procedure and post anesthesia recovery makes her a valuable addition to the Wills Surgical Arts team. Ellen strives to ensure patients feel comfortable and safe during all procedures and operations. Communication and trusting relationship are important to Ellen and will ensure all patients have a positive experience when choosing Will Surgical Arts.


Keely Hollyfield – Registered Nurse

Keely Hollyfield, RN, BSN, CCRN works with us on our surgery cases and also has a position at Medstar Georgetown. She works in the ICU when she is not with us. At home, she enjoys the company of two cats and a loving husband, and finds joy in nature and reading.


Kim P Surgical Assistant

Born in Montgomery County. Raised in Mt. Airy and now resides in Monrovia with her husband of 28years, 3 kids and 4 dogs.
Kim recently joined the practice but has been in the medical/dental field for 20+ years. She is X-ray and CPR certified. She is now working on her Dental Anesthesia Assistant Certification.
When she is not at work she loves spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys going to the shooting range, eating seafood and dreaming of the beach. She is also the JR vice president of the VFW Auxiliary, the Mt. Airy post.
Kim’s love for patients is evident with her empathy towards patients to make them have the best experience in the office as possible.



Kim – Office Manager

Kim joined Will Surgical Arts in July of 2019. She has 22 years of experience in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery field. Before oral surgery Kim worked as a dental assistant in general dentistry. She strives to make sure that patients are comfortable with all aspects of their treatment from procedure, cost to insurance reimbursement.
Kim lives in Frederick with her husband of 38 years. She enjoys spending her summer vacations in the Outer Banks with her family and spending free time with her 3 children, 3 grandchildren and volunteering at her church.


Laura – Surgical Assistant

Laura has been a Montgomery County ,Maryland resident since birth . She plans to move with her husband of two years, stepson and two adorable tuxedo cats to the Frederick area in the near future. Her passion for dentistry developed during her childhood, and she has dedicated over a decade to the dental field as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant and is working on her Dental Anesthesia Assistant certification. A devoted fan of the Washington Commanders and Capitals, as well as enjoying seafood all year long. Her enthusiasm for assisting others is evident, and she eagerly looks forward to providing care for her patients.


Dee – Front Desk / Insurance Coordinator

Dee joined Will Surgical Arts in March of 2020 as a Front Desk Coordinator. She has over 20 years of expertise in both the medical and dental services field. Her previous assignments prior to joining our team included, Office manager, patient appointment coordinator, medical and dental coding input specialist and insurance billing verification liaison. As a front desk coordinator Dee strives to engage each patient with the courtesy and compassion they deserve, while making sure that their patient confidentiality is always respected. Dee loves spending as much time as possible with her 5 grandchildren, family and friends outside of work and enjoys gardening, crocheting and traveling.


Claire – Front Desk Coordinator

Claire joined Will Surgical Arts in July 2022. Previously, she worked as a medical secretary and unit clerk for over 25 years at area hospitals including Frederick Health and Howard County General. She uses the experience she has gained to inform patients and their families about what to expect at their appointments. Claire enjoys reading, and being outside on long walks with her husband and their dog Buffy.
