Wedding season is almost here. Whether you are the bride, mother of the bride, a bridesmaid, or a wedding guest—you will want to look your best. A growing number of our patients are seeking out non-surgical treatments to enhance and enliven their look. At Will Surgical Arts, we can help you put your best face forward. Offering a number of injectable treatments, Dr. Will can help you achieve a youthful radiance this nuptial season.

Injectable Treatments at Will Surgical Arts

Botox

Wrinkles form as we repeatedly use the same muscles to express facial emotion. When injected, Botox blocks muscular nerve signals causing decreased muscle movement. The injected muscle can no longer contract, which causes the wrinkles to relax and soften. Botox smooths lines and wrinkles:

  • Between the Brow
  • Forehead Furrows
  • Crow’s Feet
  • And, helps you to appear younger

Although not visible immediately, results can be seen within three to five days, with continued improvement over the following week

Juvederm

As a dermal filler, Juvederm provides you with natural-looking results. Juvederm is an injectable gel that takes advantage of hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance that supports skin structure. Juvederm cushions the skin, smoothing and softening lines, creases, and wrinkles. Juvederm can be injected around the mouth—minimizing the appearance of:

  • Smile Lines
  • Corner Lines (at the corner of the lips)
  • Marionette Lines (the creases running from the corners of the mouth to the chin)
  • Nasolabial Folds (run from the nose to the corner of the mouth)
Voluma

The newest addition to the Juvederm family, Voluma is the first and only FDA-approved injectable that targets and treats facial volume loss. As we age, our skin loses its natural fullness and vibrancy. Voluma uses hyaluronic acid to fill and plump the cheek area.

How does a filler differ from traditional injectable treatments? Whereas a traditional injectable (like Botox) treats the wrinkle itself, a filler (like Juvederm) blends the appearance of wrinkles by restoring moisture and plumpness to the skin.

Wedding Season Ready

Injectable treatments offer a quick and effective way to treat a tired and aging complexion. An in-and-out visit, treatments typically last only fifteen minutes. As a non-invasive procedure, there is no downtime associated with injectables. An added bonus: results can be seen long beyond the traditional wedding season as injectables last anywhere from six months to one year.

It is important to schedule your treatment one to two weeks ahead of any major event. Although rare, there is a chance of slight bruising and redness around the injection site. Giving yourself a week also allows for the injection to set and if needed, any touch-ups to be administered.

Be Bride-Approved with Dr. Will

Understandably, in social settings, most become more conscientious about fine lines and wrinkles. This year, embrace each wedding with confidence. With Dr. Will’s help, a perfectly radiant, restored, and wrinkle-free face can be yours. We would love to see you—schedule a consultation with Dr. Will at Will Surgical Arts.
